This is it, our last race of the 2021 season on Strider. Below are the details for the race.
If you are able, I can use your help the following weekend preparing Strider for Winter. Typically
      Oct 23/24 – Boat prep including washing and waxing
      Oct 30/31 – Install Winter Cover
      Nov 6/7 – Alternate Date for bad weather in previous two weekends

May the wind be our backs, and the skills we developed this year be handy at the tip of our fingers.

Upcoming tasks
– Get A2 sail onto Strider – bring to Stamford? – Dan
– Order Lunch for Saturday early pickup – Dan
– Order Lunch for Sunday early pickup – Scott  (dan provide info)
– Put half of the fuel jug into Strider fuel tank, with 1oz of each type of fuel treatment – Eric & Alex
– Leave whisker pole, sail covers, at dock – Eric & Alex

    Strider, you are on the dock ( outside finger if weather permits)
    Getting to and from the dock with tides is your call!

    Dock reservation is weather dependent.
    Dock Is Not Accessible at low tide or in the prevailing South winds they have this time of year, if wind >=               10 knots
    Be 2 1/2 hours either side of low tide is mandatory, even more at really low tide (figure 3 hours)

– Dan will hitch a ride with Duncan to Stamford, stay on Strider Saturday night
       bring A2 sail.

– Saturday afternoon – Lunch by Capt Dan, Bay Deli Sandwiches?
– Saturday evening – Stamford party, possibly supplemented by crew dinner 
– Sunday morning – Pancakes by Capt Dan

6:00am (if travel Saturday) Huntington Crew Gathers  (Boat was prepped Friday night, otherwise leave extra time)
6:30am  (if travel Saturday) Huntington Crew Departs  11.8 nm and 2:15 estimated travel time dock to dock (Navionics estimate) 
8:45am  Stamford Crew Meets Strider at Dock, Transfer extra Strider items into cars
9:20am  Depart Dock
11:00am First Gun of 3 races
